One person has died and two others are injured after a domestic violence-related shooting in southeast Denver, police say.
Denver Police investigated overnight and Tuesday morning in the 10,000 block of East Girard Avenue, near the 9 Mile Station Apartment Bridges.
A man who was shot and killed in the incident is described by police as a suspect in the shooting who then “died of a gunshot wound he apparently self-inflicted”.
Police say they believe they have reported on all parties involved in the incident, but continue to investigate the circumstances.
A teenage girl is in critical condition with fatal injuries and a man is in critical condition, police said.
An infant, the child of the teenager who was shot, was “abandoned by the suspect, causing serious injury,” police said in a statement. The infant is in critical condition.
An investigation is underway.
