Hounds win by hosting ‘One Love’ game
INDIANAPOLIS –The University of Indianapolis women’s lacrosse team earned its second conference win after beating the Western State University Griffons of Missouri 14-3 Friday afternoon at Key Stadium.

HOW DID IT HAPPEN
Mackenzie Win was the first to score on a pass from Abigail Lagos, followed by three more goals from the Hounds and the only goal from the Griffons in the first half. Finish the first fifteen minutes with 4-1.
The Hounds scored four more to end the first half, led by Lagos, who finished the first half with two goals of her own. Winn pitched the third and Lagos would put the Hounds in double digits. The Greyhounds ended the second half with Quinn Malcolm who scored the Hounds’ last goal of the game.
UIndy completed 19 clear attempts and held Missouri Western to just nine of 13 attempts. Kara Antonucci and Mekayla Montgomery led the charge on defense with three caused turnovers per play, while Montgomery recovered four ground balls and four draw checks.
Abigail Lagos led the UIndy offense with five goals and three assists. While Mackenzie Win scored three goals to it.
audrey moran and King Cassidy split time in goal, with Moran making three saves and King making two saves.
