Bowdoin announces schedule changes for weekend contests (January 7-9)

BRUNSWICK, Maine – The Sports Department at Bowdoin College has announced a number of schedule changes for this weekend’s competitions; all affecting away games for Polar Bear teams. The latest updates are listed below. Click on the links to the right for the latest up to date team schedules.

Home games

The women’s basketball and women’s ice hockey home games at Bowdoin this weekend are going on as planned. A reminder to fans that spectator access is limited to people who participate in the Bowdoin test program. No off-campus spectators are permitted and all games will be broadcast live on the Northeast Sports Network. Click here for Bowdoin spectator guidelines.

Men’s basketball

Friday’s game at Trinity has been rescheduled to Tuesday, Jan.18 at 2:00 p.m. ET. The Connecticut College game goes as scheduled on Saturday at 3:00 p.m. in the new London.

Men ice hockey

Competitions in Hamilton (Friday) and Amherst (Saturday) have also been postponed. The teams are currently working on postponed dates for these matches.

Squash men and women

The women’s game scheduled for Saturday morning against Mount Holyoke has been canceled. Due to the cancellation, the men’s and women’s squash teams will now face Williams on Saturday morning at 10 a.m., instead of the originally scheduled start time of 5 p.m. Friday’s matches at Middlebury are taking place as scheduled.
